This class will focus on poses, breath, and meditation. People who practice mindfulness find more peace, compassion, creativity and more courage in their daily lives. Mindfulness allows us to be more present with ourselves and decide how we want to move forward with our health journey. Would you like increased strength, stamina, flexibility and balance? Yoga will help with that.

This class is designed for all levels of experience.

Students will need to have a yoga mat, yoga blocks and blanket.

Kids Sewing

with Kaitlin Ciminelli

Calendar Next available session starts Feb 6, 2026 at 1 pm

This is a longer class, so please bring a lunch or snack. This class is designed for beginner and intermediate sewers using sewing machines.

We will cover basic machine skills, including cutting and measuring simple fabric shapes, pinning, and sewing.

Beginners will learn how to thread the machine and identify the different parts.

Intermediate sewers will review their machine setup to ensure they are comfortable before starting their project.

For this class, we will be making either a pillow or a pillowcase.

It is easiest to learn on your own sewing machine, so please bring one if you have it. If you do not have a machine, let me know ahead of time so I can be sure there are enough available.

Required Supplies:

1 yard of fabric

Thread to match the fabric

Sewing machine (with extra needles, bobbins, etc.)

Scissors

Pillow stuffing (optional, if making a pillow instead of a pillowcase)

These sessions include the months of January, February, April, and May.  Please note that the March session is listed under a different registration link (Aerobic Dance-5 Classes) because there are more classes, therefore a different fee.
