The class will go over the basic use of machine skills, cutting and measuring simple fabric shapes, pinning and sewing. For beginners we will go over threading the machine and what all the parts of the machine are. For intermediate sewers I will make sure they understand their machine before they start their project. For this class we will be making a pillow or pillow case. It is easier to learn on your own machine, so if you have one please bring it. If you do not please let me know so I can be sure I have enough. Required supplies: 1 yard fabric, thread to match fabric, sewing machine (please ensure there are extra needles, bobbins, etc) scissors, pillow stuffing (optional if doing pillow instead of pillowcase).
