Sit & Paint - Making Mandalas

with Shanoa Gardiner

Calendar Next available session starts Oct 10, 2020 at 10 am

Learn how to draw a mandala! In this online class, I'll walk you through the process of creating a mandala. You get to choose your own materials. It could be as simple as a paper and pencil to paint on a found object. Mandalas represent the connection between our inner world and outer reality. Designing your own mandalas can be very relaxing and therapeutic. They look complicated but actually they are quite easy, once you know the steps!

A mandala is a complex abstract design that is usually circular in form. Mandalas generally have one identifiable center point, from which everything stems from.  This can be symbols, shapes, and forms. Mandalas can contain both geometric and organic forms. They can also contain recognizable images that carry meaning for the person who is creating it.

This is an online class. You will need to download the free Zoom app to your phone or computer. You will need a computer that has a working camera and microphone. After you register for the class, your receipt email will contain your Zoom information.
