Volleyball Fundamentals (2nd-4th)

This class is for 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade girls. We will work with your athlete on the basic fundamentals of volleyball. This is a great place to start for beginners. We will focus on form, the basics of passing, setting and hitting.

This class is for 5th and 6th grade girls. We will work with your athlete on the basic fundamentals of volleyball as well as game play, team work and sportsmanship. This is a great place to start for beginners as well as those who have a bit of volleyball experience but just need more time on the court before the school team season starts.

What is Zumba®?

Zumba® fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a kind fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, to get hooked. Zumba® Fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got a Zumba® class!

What to wear and what to bring? Work-out clothes that are easy to move in and that you won’t over heat in. Leggings/Yoga Pants, tee shirts, and clean tennis shoes. Don’t forget your, water bottle and small towel.

Who is the instructor? Our certified Zumba® instructors are Sara Hooten, Audrey Kemp, and Natasha Maxfield. You can register for each night of the week separately so, no excuses! Give it a try!

American Sign Language

This interactive class will start out learning basic every day signs, alphabet, numbers and important expressions, etc. We will slowly evolve in to putting words together to form sentences and other ways to use ASL. These are important when successfully communicating with others in American Sign Language, and because good communication also involves manners, we'll be learning some basic do’s and don’ts of Deaf etiquette. Please bring a notebook. This class is for adults and school age children can come with an adult. All children must be accompanied by an adult and be 1st grade or older. Children 6th grade and older will need to have their own registration.
